Pray for Our Church Day 3

June 3

Matthew 7:7-8 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Read (Eph. 4:1; 2 Thes. 1:11; Ps. 132:9; Isa. 61:10; Rev. 3:4)

Today I lift up the adults in my congregation to You. May we live worthy of Your call on our lives. As we respond to that call, fulfill every purpose, every faith-filled act of service by Your power. May we be clothed in righteousness with hearts that sing for joy and delight greatly in You. We want to walk with You, Jesus. But I do want to pause and lift specifically (please say their name(s). Many are facing operations, relationship and recovery issues. Some are seeking jobs, others have new babies and need rest, comfort and wisdom. Be with them today my God and Savior.
Corrie ten Boom said, “Don’t pray only when you feel like praying. Have an appointment with the Lord and keep it. Believers on their knees are powerful and effective.”
