How Can You Get Involved?

We have something for everyone and we want you to check it out.

Home Bible Fellowships

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, our church has small Bible studies held in member homes. We have groups for women, men and couples. If you are interested contact the church office and we’ll put you in touch with a group that will work for you.

Baptist Youth Ministry

BYF, or Baptist Youth Fellowship, meets the first Sunday of every month, 6:30 pm at the church. Every meeting, they praise the Lord through song, have a Bible study, enjoy refreshments and a time to build up friendships with one another. Their mission is to foster growth in their relationships with God, to learn more about Him and His word and to develop godly character and strong foundations in the Lord.

Sunday School
Singing, games, crafts, projects, outings, Bible study lessons, discussions, prayer are all important parts of the Sunday School experience. Bible knowledge, changed lives, and a growing love for God are the basic goals for the Sunday School department. We have classes from Pre-Kindergarten to High School. We hope you can join us in the exciting adventure of growing strong in Jesus!

Women’s Circles & Craft Groups

Our Naomi Ruth & Amy Purcell Circles are very active in our church and are based on the American Baptist Women’s model. They serve our church, community and around the world through outreach and White Cross. But, it’s not all work, the women enjoy regular meetings with devotions, fun activities and of course food.

Our craft groups are a unique way to fellowship with other women. The Sew in Love group meets every Thursday, 9:30 am, at the church. They bring their current craft projects, enjoy snacks and a time of prayer and devotion. As they craft they create things to sell at our Food & Fun Festival and also give to local projects.

Adult Bible Study

Our Adult Bible Study meets every Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Rev. Jack leads this group, and through this time together attendees learn to utilize the scriptures in the real world.

Adult Sunday School

Rev. Jack leads our Sunday morning study. At 9:30 am they gather in the gym to study and fellowship. This is a great group committed to working on their faith.

Agape Ministry

The Agape Ministry started as a Chinese speaking Sunday School but is so much more now. Rev. Gong leads the Chinese language worship Sunday mornings at 11 am in the Board Room. We also have many other activities throughout the year. If you would like more information about this ministry contact Jeannie Gong.

Music

The people of FCBC love music and we invite you to be a part of it. Whether you just want to sing in the pews Sunday morning or would like to be a part of one of our choirs there is a place for you. Contact our Music Director, Jeff Burkett, for more information about our Bell Choir. We also have a great Praise Team that performs the last Sunday of every month.
